DRINKABLE Water Solutions is a Thai water technology company that builds centralized, building-level water re-treatment systems. Our flagship system, AWRS (Adaptive Water Re-Treatment System), is installed at the building level and treats all incoming water in real time, ensuring every tap in the building delivers water that meets drinking-grade standards.
AWRS stands for Adaptive Water Re-Treatment System. It's a centralized water treatment system installed at the building level (not room by room). It continuously monitors and adapts its treatment process based on real-time water conditions, delivering drinking-grade water to every unit and tap in the building.
Thailand's water treatment plants generally produce water that meets national standards. But concerns about tap water can arise at multiple points in the journey: from source water quality, to aging distribution infrastructure, to what happens inside buildings themselves, including storage tanks and internal pipe systems. Together, these factors shape why many residents choose not to drink tap water directly.
For Residents
If your building has AWRS installed and operational, yes. Your water has been re-treated in real time to meet drinking-grade standards. You can verify this at any time through the AWRS monitoring platform, which shows live pH, TDS, and turbidity readings from your building's system.
No. AWRS is managed at the building level by your building operator. There's nothing for you to buy, install, or maintain. The system works in the background. You just open the tap.
You can ask your building management about DRINKABLE. We work with building owners and developers directly. You can point them to our For Developers page or Contact page and we'll take it from there.
The AWRS monitoring platform is provided to residents of buildings with AWRS installed. Your building management will provide onboarding details when the system is activated at your building. If you have questions about platform access, contact your building management first, or contact our support team.

Installation timeline depends on building size, existing infrastructure, and scope. We assess this during the proposal stage and provide a project timeline as part of the proposal. Contact us to start with a scoping conversation.
We design the installation process to minimise disruption. The specific impact depends on the building and its existing water system, and we address this in the project planning phase. We provide a detailed implementation plan as part of the proposal.
Yes. The AWRS system generates continuous water quality data (pH, TDS, turbidity) that is logged and available for export. This data can be used directly in ESG reports, sustainability disclosures, and audit preparation. The Quality Assurance page has more detail on what data is available and how it is structured.

Technical
AWRS continuously monitors pH (acidity/alkalinity), TDS (Total Dissolved Solids, an indicator of dissolved mineral and contaminant load), and turbidity (water clarity). These are the primary parameters used to assess drinking water quality under WHO (World Health Organization) guidelines and Thai Department of Health standards. Additional parameters may be included depending on the installation scope.
"Adaptive" refers to the system's ability to adjust its treatment intensity based on real-time incoming water conditions. Unlike conventional systems that apply a fixed treatment process regardless of water quality, AWRS continuously measures the incoming water and adjusts accordingly, treating more when conditions require it and less when they don't. This produces more consistent output quality and uses treatment resources more efficiently.
In most cases, AWRS works within the building's existing pipe infrastructure. As part of the installation process, the building's pipe network is chemically flushed before system activation, ensuring existing pipes are clean before treated water flows through them. The specific infrastructure requirements for your building will be assessed during the proposal stage.
AWRS treats water to meet drinking-grade quality parameters aligned with WHO (World Health Organization) Guidelines for Drinking-water Quality and Thai Ministry of Public Health (Department of Health) standards. As part of each project, independent lab verification testing is conducted and the results will be made accessible for your review via the monitoring platform.
